Derail Valley fully supports playing on a regular PC, using mouse and keyboard on a flat screen, but virtual reality is where it really shines.

Multiplayer is a Derail Valley mod that adds multiplayer to the game, allowing you to play with your friends. It works by having one player host a game, and then other players can join that game.

If you are using CheatEngine to change your money but have had no luck simply change the "Value Type" to "Double" then scan for your money amount and it should be found. Change the amount to what you would like and then make a purchase at a office and it should reflect to show the amount you changed it to.

Passengers cars are used to carry passengers. They are not used for Jobs currently, and can only be spawned in using the Comms radio's Spawner Mode. Red, blue, and green versions exist. No visual change occurs when the Comms radio is used to load one with passengers, but the weight does increase by 6,000kg.

To activate and install a mod simply select the mod within the Mods tab and click the "Activate" button. To deactivate and uninstall a mod simply click the "Deactivate" button. You can also double-click the mod in the list to activate or deactivate mods.

Sadly no plans on console ports currently, being out of our scope for our small team, but we hope to get there eventually.

A locomotive is a rail vehicle designed to move rail cars meant for the transport of freight, passengers, or other things. There are currently seven locomotives featured in Derail Valley - the DE2, DH4, DM3, S282, S060, DE6 and BE2.

Derail Valley: Simulator - Just Launched

The update was released to Steam and Oculus store users today. The game supports both PC and PC-based VR play, natively, and can also be played on Steam Deck.

Walk anywhere or drive a train in a 256 km2 world, covered in rich vegetation, mountains, fields, lakes, rivers and a massive railroad network, spanning 15 diverse industries and towns. Days and nights seamlessly cycle over the valley, with dynamic clouds, fog, rain and environment sounds spicing it all up.

Adding mods to Stardew Valley can be very straightforward if there are only a couple you want to use. Many are installed just by placing the downloaded files in the "Mods" folder in your Stardew Valley directory. If you're playing through Steam, the default location is "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley".

Derail Valley is made in Unity.

Lighters can be purchased from shops for $150. Their main use is to ignite the firebox of steam locomotives by throwing one in, after which it will return to your inventory and can be used again. It can ignite flammable cargo leaking from damaged cars.
