The only guarantee on the schedule above isthe Week 1 game, which the NFL revealed would be his broadcast debut as part of the schedule reveal. It's also possible Brady will get a week off at some point, though it isn't clear when Fox might plan to get him in some rest and relaxation.

Here's why the games listed above seem to make the most sense for Brady to call.

Week 1: Cowboys at Browns

Fox and the NFL already announced Brady will make his broadcasting debut in Cleveland, and he'll getto break down "America's Team" in his first game. That will place him under a microscope right away considering the attention Dallas draws.

Week 2: Seahawks at Patriots

The Lions-Buccaneers divisional round matchup is the biggest game on Fox's Week 2 slate, but they may send Olsen's crew to that one while letting Brady call a game at Gillette Stadium. The Seahawks and Patriots squared off in Super Bowl 49 back in 2014, so this will be a good chance to revisit the Malcolm Butler pick and Pete Carroll's decision not to run Marshawn Lynch for a potential game-winning touchdown.

Week 3: Ravens at Cowboys

The Ravens were the best regular-season team in the NFL last season with a record of 13-4. The Cowboys went 12-5 and draw a lot of attention as one of the most popular teams in the country. No game can match the hype of Lamar Jackson vs. Dak Prescott, though the 49ers-Rams game will be a good backup option if anything goes wrong in Baltimore or Dallas.

Week 4: Patriots at 49ers

This may not be thebestmatchup on Fox's slate. That probably belongs to the Eagles-Buccaneers postseason rematch. That said, Brady played 20 years for the Patriots and grew up as a big 49ers fan, so having him broadcast this game could pay off in spades.

Week 5: Dolphins at Patriots

If Fox wants to ease Brady into his role in the booth, they may have him handle a handful of Patriots and Buccaneers games throughout the season. Miami's games against New England tend to be close, so this would be a good spot to discuss Brady's difficult history against the Dolphins.

Week 6: Lions at Cowboys

Detroit and Dallas were tied for the NFC's best record with the 49ers last season at 12-5. The two teams squared off late in the regular season, and the game was decided by one point after the Lions were controversially called for an illegal formation after tossing a go-ahead two-point conversion to backup offensive tackle Dan Skipper. Another tight game and crazy finish could test Brady during the early days of his broadcast career.

Week 7: Chiefs at 49ers

Fox is going to have its No. 1 crew broadcast the Super Bowl rematch. Fans might like to see Burkhardt and Olsen team up again, but Brady will get a chance to make the contest memorable.

Week 8: Falcons at Buccaneers

There isn't agreatmatchup on Fox's Week 8 schedule, so this may be a good time to give Brady a week off to recharge. If not, sending him back to Tampa Bay — where he won a Super Bowl — for an NFC South battle might be a good way to extract value from what presently looks like a middling slate.

Week 9: Lions at Packers

The Lions were one of the best teams in the NFL last season but they split their season series with the up-and-coming Packers. Jordan Love figures to be a legitimate MVP candidate in 2024 and this could end up being a playoff preview; the two teams nearly met in the NFC championship game, but the 49ers held off the Packers in a tightly contested game.

Week 10: 49ers at Buccaneers

This is similar to the Patriots-49ers game early in the season, pitting Brady's former team against Brady's favorite team growing up. Fox may not be able to resist putting that matchup on the schedule, especially considering the two were playoff teams last season.

Week 11: Rams at Patriots

This is a rematch of Tom Brady's first Super Bowl win with the Patriots and his last. It's another scenario that should prove irresistible for Fox — unless New England is unwatchable at this point in the season. This could also be Packers-Bears or an off week for Brady if the Patriots are well out of the playoff race by Week 11.

Week 12: 49ers at Packers

Three Packers games in four weeks may not seem ideal for Fox's No. 1 broadcast team, but this is an NFC divisional round rematch in which the Packers will look to earn revenge against the 49ers. San Francisco has one of the best rosters in the NFL while Green Bay has an up-and-coming offense, so this is one of the more interesting matchups Tom Brady could call.

Week 13: Giants at Cowboys

Could Brady broadcast on Thanksgiving? It's possible. The rest of Fox's slate is a bit lackluster, so the network could opt to have him work another Cowboys game. Dallas should be favored heavily against the hapless-looking Giants, but this game will draw plenty of viewers on the holiday and gain Brady even Fox even more exposure.

Week 14: Bills at Rams

Putting Brady on the Falcons-Vikings game could draw interest, as Brady could give unique perspective on Kirk Cousins' decision to leave Minnesota for Atlanta in free agency. Still, the Bills-Rams contest is the better game. The Bills and Rams made the playoffs last season, and watching Josh Allen's offense go against Sean McVay's stacked unit should be fun for NFL fans.

Week 15: Steelers at Eagles

The Jaguars vs. Jets game could be a good game if both teams stay healthy. If not, the Steelers-Eagles contest is a good one, as Philadelphia figures to be one of the NFL's best teams in 2024 despite its cold finish to 2023. The Steelers are perennially playoff contenders too, so it's a safe bet thatsomethingwill be on the line during this game.

Week 16: Steelers at Ravens

This classic rivalry is being played on a Saturday, but that won't stop Fox from putting Brady on the call. There could be wild-card implications in this one, so Fox may have Brady on this one and could also use him for Lions-Bears on Sunday if it so desires. It remains to be seen if the former quarterback would be ready to do multiple color analyst games over such a short duration, however, so doing just the Saturday game may be the more prudent option.

Week 17: Cowboys at Eagles

Two of the most popular NFL teams are squaring off in a battle that could determine the NFC East winner. Why wouldn't Fox have its top broadcast team on the call for what could be a very important — and will certainly be very watched — contest?

Week 18: TBD

We may be prognosticating Brady's projected schedule, but broadcast information for every game for Week 18 remains to be determined. Brady will likely work the Fox game with the most consequential playoff outcome once that rolls around, but we won't know which one that will be until much later in the season.
